Terminal Sleep appear to be inching closer to returning to action after spending much of 2026 on hiatus while drummer Todd Tombleson recovered from spinal surgery.
The Australian metalcore band recently shared that Tombleson is back behind the drum kit, with the group holding its first rehearsal together since his surgery earlier this year.
The band was forced to shelve its immediate plans in January after revealing that Tombleson needed the procedure, putting live performances and other activities on hold while he focused on his recovery.
Although Terminal Sleep have yet to announce a timetable for new music or live shows, the recent rehearsal is an encouraging sign that the band is preparing for its next chapter. The group also entered a new era last year after signing with Nuclear Blast Records.
