Self-described “bimboviolence” outfit BRAT have unveiled a new music video for “Trophy Hunting,” the latest preview of their forthcoming album ‘Manslayer’.
The track explores the subject of reactive abuse, with vocalist Liz Selfish explaining the inspiration behind the song and its accompanying visuals:
“‘Trophy Hunting’ is a classic tale of older men seeking a trophy wife that they can control. The video showcases the brutal aftermath of a young wife who has had enough.”
John Coglan directed the newly released music video, which accompanies the band’s latest offering ahead of the September 25th arrival of ‘Manslayer’ via Prosthetic Records.
‘Manslayer’ follows the band’s ongoing development of their self-described “bimboviolence” sound, with “Trophy Hunting” providing another look at what they have in store for their upcoming full-length.
