A new memorial honoring late former Mastodon guitarist and vocalist Brent Hinds has been installed at the Atlanta intersection where the influential musician tragically lost his life last year.
The tribute recently appeared at the corner of Memorial Drive and Boulevard SE in Atlanta, Georgia, the site of Hinds’ fatal motorcycle accident on August 20, 2025. While the memorial does not appear to be an official installation, Mastodon highlighted it through the band’s social media channels, sharing footage of the display with fans.
The memorial features several images celebrating Hinds’ life and legacy while also serving as a reminder for motorists to stay alert. One of its central messages encourages drivers to “Look Twice” before crossing, advocating for increased awareness and motorcycle safety.
