Bring Me The Horizon surprised fans during their headlining set at the 2026 Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival by bringing out rising online vocalist MAPHRA for a live performance of “Doomed.”
The collaboration marked the first time MAPHRA has performed the 2015 That’s The Spirit track live alongside the band, with the moment taking place at Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio during Friday night’s festival headlining slot.
MAPHRA’s appearance continues a breakout stretch for the vocalist, who has gained major traction online through covers of metalcore and alternative metal songs. Earlier this year, her rendition of “Doomed” climbed to the top of Billboard’s Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart and has since accumulated millions of streams across platforms.
The guest spot also marked her second high-profile live appearance in recent weeks after joining Ice Nine Kills onstage during last weekend’s Welcome To Rockville festival.
MAPHRA has additionally found success with her cover of Spiritbox’s “Circle With Me,” further expanding her visibility within the heavy music scene.
The collaboration came only days after Bring Me The Horizon vocalist Oli Sykes reportedly suffered a mild concussion after being struck by a phone thrown from the audience during a recent performance, making the added vocal support during “Doomed” especially notable.
