Bring Me The Horizon gave fans a surprise this past Wednesday, June 4th, by performing their cover of Oasis’ iconic 1995 hit “Wonderwall” live for the very first time. The moment took place during their set at the Palladium in Cologne, Germany.
Originally released in January, the band’s version of “Wonderwall” was met with praise — even earning a thumbs up from Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher himself. The track was released in partnership with Sony Music, who committed 100% of the profits from the cover to the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Fan-filmed footage of the debut performance is circulating online, showing the band giving the Britpop classic a moody, modern twist in front of a packed German crowd.
