Burton C. Bell’s ‘Obsolete By Word Of Mouth’ Events Canceled Ahead of Australian Solo Tour

Former Fear Factory frontman Burton C. Bell appears to have quietly canceled his planned ‘Obsolete By Word Of Mouth’ spoken word events. The two Australian dates, originally scheduled for mid-June, have been removed from official listings.

The unique spoken word concept was designed as an intimate exploration of Obsolete—the gold-certified 1998 album he co-created with Fear Factory. Bell had planned to perform an a cappella reading of the album’s story and lyrics, using his original notes, followed by an acoustic set in an up-close, personal setting.
