Chicago-based groove metal outfit Repentance have released a new single titled “Among The Wolves,” offering another preview of their forthcoming album ‘Retaliate’. The record is scheduled to arrive on November 27, 2026, through Noble Demon.
The album was originally expected to arrive earlier this year, but the band ultimately postponed its release following the tragic passing of guitarist Shaun Glass in July. The group took time to mourn their bandmate, with the upcoming effort featuring some of Glass’ final studio recordings.
Vocalist Adam Gilley shared some insight into the lyrical themes behind the newly released track, describing it as one of his personal favorites from the album.
“One of my favorites off the album! This song expresses intense feelings of betrayal, anger, and disillusionment toward someone who has caused deep emotional pain.”
With ‘Retaliate’ set to arrive later this month, “Among The Wolves” provides another glimpse into the material Repentance have prepared for the release while also serving as part of a record that carries added significance following the loss of Glass.
