The Callous Daoboys have once again backed up their chaotic sound with bold action.
Earlier this month, the Atlanta-based mathcore outfit dropped a limited-edition shirt to benefit the Immigrant Defense Project, a nonprofit committed to protecting the rights of immigrants in the United States. The front of the shirt featured an image of a border patrol vehicle engulfed in flames with the quote: “The Callous Daoboys says I don’t want to see you in heaven” — a nod to their recent release God Smiles Upon The Callous Daoboys. The back left no room for interpretation: “FUCK I.C.E.” printed in all caps.
Yesterday (June 24th), the band took to social media to thank fans for their support and shared receipts — including a screenshot of the wire transfer — confirming that the shirt raised $19,000.95 for the cause.
The band wrote:
“We’re incredibly thankful to everyone who picked one up and helped us support a cause that matters.”
The effort reflects a growing trend of heavy bands using their platforms to amplify social justice organizations, and The Callous Daoboys continue to stand out not just for their sound — but for their stance.

David Bamm one of the best experimental hardcore metal bands to come out of the scene in the last 5 years. Seen them 3 times and it’s always incredible, definitely a breath of fresh air from the same style being released over and over again.
