Calva Louise have premiered the official music video for “El Umbral”, continuing the visual rollout for their new album Edge Of The Abyss. Like many of the band’s recent clips, this one was directed by Jess Allanic, who also fronts the band.
“Our new album has 4 songs fully in Spanish, Jess’ mother tongue. This is one of them with one of the most personal lyrics for Jess, you can check the translation on the music video!” the band shared.
Edge Of The Abyss has been accompanied by an ambitious series of music videos, each bringing a cinematic layer to the band’s genre-blending alternative metal sound. “El Umbral” stands out as one of the most emotionally charged tracks, highlighting the personal storytelling and Spanish lyricism that run throughout the record.
