Carnifex have officially signed with Sumerian Records, marking a major new chapter for the veteran deathcore outfit following their lengthy tenure with Nuclear Blast.
To celebrate the announcement, the band have released a brand new single titled “Roses & Rotting Corpses” alongside an accompanying music video directed by Midvessel.
The track serves as the first new material unveiled under the band’s partnership with Sumerian Records, continuing the dark and aggressive sound that has defined Carnifex throughout their career.
The signing comes after more than a decade with Nuclear Blast and arrives as the band’s current run on the annual ‘Chaos & Carnage Tour’ continues across North America.
Following a medical emergency that forced Thy Art Is Murder to step away from the trek’s headlining slot, both Carnifex and Bodysnatcher were elevated to co-headliner status for the remainder of the tour. 200 Stab Wounds, Ingested, Gates To Hell, and Bodybox round out the lineup.
