California deathgrind outfit Cattle Decapitation have released a new music video for “Dead End Residents,” offering one final push behind their 2023 album ‘Terrasite’.
The live performance–style video was directed by Nox Nohi and features footage from the band’s recent European touring cycle alongside clips from their ‘No Fear For Tomorrow’ run.
Vocalist Travis Ryan described the release as a closing chapter for the current album era, while also confirming that work is already underway on the band’s next record.
“We’re now sending ‘Terrasite’ off to go live with the rest of our discography, so as a going away present for our fans we present to you the ‘Dead End Residents’ official music video that was shot live during our European tour last year as well as some footage from the No Fear For Tomorrow tour.”
Ryan also confirmed that the band are deep into writing sessions for their ninth studio album and are planning studio time for early 2027.
“After the Flatline Fest later this month, we’ll be going into a short hibernation mode to finish writing our next album which we’re already many songs deep into! We hit the studio in January, so we’ll see you sometime next year!”
Before that recording cycle begins, Flatline Fest will see Cattle Decapitation co-headlining the Denver event on June 15. The festival is curated by producer Dave Otero, highlighting artists he has worked with across his production career.
