Chimaira Launches Their Own Label with 20th Anniversary Reissue of Self-Titled Album

Chimaira has officially unveiled their own record label, White Cobra Records, and is marking the occasion with a remastered reissue of their 2005 self-titled album. The special edition features bonus tracks, including “Threnody,” a cover of Metallica‘s “Disposable Heroes,” and renditions of Ascension’s “Clayden” and “Malignant.”

Pre-orders are live now for a limited one-month window, with exclusive bundles—including a box set featuring a humorous take on vinyl collecting.

The band commented on the release:

“We’re thrilled to announce that we’re taking charge of our destiny, releasing our Self-Titled album for the first time on vinyl to mark its 20th anniversary. We’ve remastered it with vinyl in mind, including all the b-sides, like our cover of Metallica’s ‘Disposable Heroes.’
