Circa Survive have officially returned to the stage, with the Philadelphia, PA post-hardcore outfit playing their first live show since 2021 on Tuesday, September 15.
The hometown performance at The Fillmore marked the beginning of the band’s previously announced return to active duty. Circa Survive revealed plans to reunite for live performances back in February, following their extended hiatus.
The band had stepped away from performing in 2022 after vocalist Anthony Green experienced a relapse. With the group now back onstage, fan-filmed footage from their Philadelphia comeback has surfaced online.
The 17-song set featured several tracks that had not been performed live in years, including “In The Morning And Amazing…”, which was last played in 2019, “Semi-Constructive Criticism”, which had not been performed since 2017, “Wish Resign”, which last appeared in 2018, and “House Of Leaves”, which returned for the first time since 2015.

Circa Survive will continue their return with a number of festival and headlining appearances scheduled through October.
