Gold-certified prog rock band Coheed And Cambria has released a new single, “Blind Side Sonny”, accompanied by an official music video. The clip was directed by Max Moore, known for his work with A Day To Remember and Knocked Loose, and a frequent collaborator with the band.
According to a press release, the track is the first glimpse into Coheed And Cambria’s ‘next full body of work’ and introduces a new villain in the conceptual universe of ‘The Amory Wars’ and ‘Vaxis’. Vocalist and guitarist Claudio Sanchez shared insights on the song, offering fans a deeper look into how it fits into their ever-expanding narrative world:
“‘Blind Side Sonny‘ is a song about revenge. What may seem like an innocent choice to someone could be the breeding ground of another’s malicious misunderstanding. Perception can be your worst enemy.”
