Crown The Empire have officially confirmed that longtime bassist/vocalist Hayden Tree has stepped away from the band. Tree has been part of the lineup since their 2010 formation—initially serving as rhythm guitarist before transitioning into his current role.
In a newly-shared video message, the band stated that Tree’s exit is rooted in wanting to prioritize time with his family and newborn child. The farewell footage was captured during their November 16th performance at the ‘Vans Warped Tour Tour’ stop at Tinker Field in Orlando, FL.
The group shared the announcement today (December 9th), writing:
“After 15 years of touring the world together @haydentree93 has decided to step away from the band. It’s been an amazing ride together, love you so much brother.”
No further information has yet been revealed regarding Tree’s future plans or who will step in moving forward, but the clip marks a heartfelt close to his long tenure with the metalcore outfit.
