Cryptopsy have premiered a new medley celebrating 30 years of their landmark debut album, Blasphemy Made Flesh. The newly recorded track, titled “Blasphemy Made Fresh,” is an 8-minute abridged tribute to the brutal death metal milestone and features a stacked lineup of guest appearances.
Guest contributors include:
Ben Duerr (Shadow Of Intent)
Bridget Lynch (Stabbing)
Alexander Jones (Undeath)
Johnny Ciardullo (Carcosa)
Mallika Sundaramurthy (Unfathomable Ruination)
Adding an unexpected twist, the medley also boasts a guitar solo from GRAMMY Award-winning bluegrass star Billy Strings.
The song appears on the upcoming reissue of Blasphemy Made Flesh, which is due out this Friday, July 18th.
Vocalist Matt McGachy commented:
“We are super stoked at how excited each guest was to be part of this unique homage to CRYPTOPSY’s first classic. We are beyond proud of this medley and are so happy that we can now share it with our new and old fans.”
