Swedish post-metal outfit Cult Of Luna have unveiled their latest single, “A Way Back,” offering another preview of their forthcoming ninth studio album, ‘In The Shadow Of Your Shadow.’
The new record is scheduled for release on November 06th through the band’s own RED CRK Recordings.
Guitarist/vocalist Fredrik Kihlberg explained that “A Way Back” explores the recurring feelings of being lost, trapped and overwhelmed by anxiety, as well as the search for a path back toward a sense of safety.
“I often find myself trying to describe a recurring feeling, the sensation of being lost, trapped, or both, and the struggle to find a way out. A way back to yourself, to a safe space, or simply finding a way to make it through when anxiety overwhelms you: at its core, that’s what this song is about.”
“A Way Back” follows the previously unveiled material from ‘In The Shadow Of Your Shadow,’ with Cult Of Luna continuing to build toward the November release of their latest full-length.
