Currents have once again caught their fans off guard with a surprise release, dropping a brand new five-song EP titled ‘Worlds Away’.
The new release finds the Connecticut metalcore outfit revisiting material from two of their recent full-lengths, giving several previously released tracks a fresh treatment rather than simply adding new songs to their catalog.
‘Worlds Away’ features reimagined versions of “Let Me Leave” and “Kill The Ache,” originally featured on the band’s 2020 album ‘The Way It Ends’. The EP also revisits three tracks from their 2023 album ‘The Death We Seek’: “Guide Us Home,” “Remember Me” and “Unfamiliar.”
