California crossover outfit Dead Heat have rolled out a new track titled “Light Me Up”, which has surfaced digitally alongside its physical release through Decibel Magazine’s long-running flexi disc series.
The song was issued as a limited one-sided flexi pressing tied to the publication, with copies circulating while supplies last. The track itself landed as a standalone single earlier this year, continuing the band’s streak of high-energy crossover material that blends hardcore urgency with thrash metal bite.
While the physical version serves collectors, the wider availability of “Light Me Up” gives fans another taste of what the group have been building following their recent output, reinforcing their place among the modern wave of crossover revivalists.
