Alternative metal outfit dead7 have released a new visualizer for their latest track, “Feels Like.” The band, who are signed to SharpTone Records, explore the challenges of finding happiness and learning to accept yourself on the new release.
Vocalist Jason Kozik explained the personal themes behind the song, describing the difficulties of moving beyond a negative mindset and finding a sense of self-acceptance.
“‘Feels Like’ goes along with the theme of navigating happiness. It’s a song that defines the struggle a person may face when trying to accept who they are and how to be happy with themselves. It sometimes feels impossible when you’ve been in a negative headspace for so long. When it comes to being happy, the one person that may be holding you back is yourself.”
