Blackgaze pioneers Deafheaven are already planning new material for 2026, following the release of their sixth studio album Lonely People With Power earlier this year in March.
In a recent interview with Consequence, vocalist George Clarke shared:
“I guess this is the first time I’ll have said this, and maybe it’s good [timing] because the year is concluding, but we will have new music next year.”
Clarke also confirmed that the band’s touring schedule will remain busy, saying:
“We will be touring a lot. So, we’re gonna be very, very busy. It will be busier than this year, which is a blessing.”
Fans can expect both new recordings and extensive live performances from Deafheaven throughout 2026.
