Deftones Kick Off Biggest U.S. Headlining Tour, Bring Back Two Songs in Setlist

Deftones kicked off their biggest U.S. headlining tour to date last night, February 25th, launching the highly anticipated trek in Portland, OR. The multi-platinum alternative metal icons are joined by The Mars Volta and Fleshwater for the run.

With their tenth studio album on the horizon, excitement for the tour is at an all-time high. The opening night took place at the Moda Center, a fitting location given that Chino Moreno has called Oregon home for several years.

While no new material was unveiled during the set, fans were treated to the return of “Hole In The Earth” (last performed in 2019) and “Bored” (making its first appearance since 2018). For those wondering, Stephen Carpenter was in attendance for the show.
