Alternative metal mainstays Deftones have announced their latest foray into craft beverages, once again teaming up with Belching Beaver Brewery—this time for their first-ever horchata blonde ale.
The new beer, titled ‘Milk Of The Madonna’, takes its name from the second single released from Deftones’ most recent album, ‘private music’. The name also nods to the band’s history with Madonna’s Maverick Records imprint, where Deftones were signed early in their career.
Pre-orders for ‘Milk Of The Madonna’ officially launched today, January 28th, via Belching Beaver’s website for customers in California. Wider distribution is expected to roll out in the coming weeks across CA, OR, ID, WA, NV, AZ, MN, NE, TX, CO, as well as Mexico and Aruba.
The horchata blonde ale clocks in at 6.5% ABV. Describing the collaboration, Belching Beaver stated:
“Brewed in collaboration with our friends Deftones, this Horchata Blonde Ale hits smooth like a favorite track on repeat. Creamy and mellow with notes of cinnamon and vanilla, it’s a flavor that warms in all the right places. Rich and rhythmic, each sip carries a subtle groove. Crafted to pair with late-night sessions, deep cuts, and the moments in between. Turn it up, pour it out, and let it play.”
‘Milk Of The Madonna’ marks the latest in a growing line of Deftones-branded beverages released through their ongoing partnership with Belching Beaver.
