    DRAIN Slam ICE & Donald Trump, Launch Anti-ICE Benefit Shirt

    Santa Cruz hardcore punk outfit Drain have taken a firm public stance on their political beliefs, issuing a blunt message to fans while launching a new anti-ICE benefit shirt.

    In a statement shared February 27 via Instagram, the band wrote:

    “Fuck ICE
    Fuck Donald Trump.
    If this bothers you, please unfollow us immediately.
    No room for hate, racism, sexism, homophobia, or any other bullshit bigotry at a DRAIN show.”

    The post directly calls out United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Donald J. Trump, while reaffirming the band’s stance against discrimination and intolerance at their live performances.

    The statement coincides with the launch of a new anti-ICE shirt, available through the band’s webstore. According to DRAIN, 100% of the proceeds from the shirt will benefit the Supporting Immigrants In Santa Cruz County Fund through the Community Foundation Santa Cruz County.

    The band continue to align their platform with direct community support efforts, pairing outspoken messaging with fundraising initiatives aimed at local immigrant communities.

      Here’s a crazy concept ..I like what I heard from drain pretty decent music …my politics are not their politics and you know that’s completely ok ..I’m in it for the music ..their politics are there opinions ,.I listen to a shit load of grind , crust, d beat , hardcore or even some death metal that’s left leaning or political leanings of the band and I don’t care . If they don’t hate me liking their band when my politics don’t align and I like their music despite their different politics ..then fuck it man ..we all should be in it for the music .
