EVANESCENCE and K.FLAY Unite on New Single “Fight Like A Girl” from ‘Ballerina’ Soundtrack

Evanescence have teamed up with genre-defying artist K.Flay for a powerful new collaborative track titled “Fight Like A Girl”, which is now streaming across all major digital platforms. The track was produced with renowned composer Tyler Bates (Marilyn Manson, Guardians of the Galaxy), and serves as the end credits anthem for the upcoming John Wick spinoff film, ‘From The World Of John Wick: Ballerina’, which hits theaters this Friday, June 6th.

Amy Lee of Evanescence shared her excitement about the project:

“Tyler calling me up to create this song for ‘Ballerina’ couldn’t have come at a more perfect time. I know I’m not the only girl out there ready to dig my heels in and show the world what we’re made of. I really wanted this song to be a collab, and K.Flay is one of my favorite artists. It is literally a dream come true to do this together!”

K.Flay echoed that passion, revealing how the track immediately sparked inspiration:

“Amy sent me the demo and I was immediately so energized, so inspired. I was on tour at the time, and I wrote my verse backstage after a show, when my adrenaline was still super high. For me, the film and the song are both about how we channel our pain and how we choose to define ourselves. What separates the hero from the villain?”

‘From The World Of John Wick: Ballerina’ stars Ana de Armas and is the latest installment in the high-octane action universe, with “Fight Like A Girl” delivering a defiant, emotionally-charged closer to the film’s narrative.
