Evanescence have premiered a new music video for “Tell Me When You’ve Had Enough,” the latest single from their sixth studio album, Sanctuary.
The track, which was released as a single today, September 4, addresses themes of control, manipulation and reaching the point where resistance becomes necessary. In an official statement, the band described the song as being for “anyone who’s sick of being controlled and manipulated.”
“It questions how much we’re willing to sacrifice to stay on the path of least resistance, when really it’s time to resist.”
The accompanying video was directed by Eric Richter, whose previous credits include work with Knocked Loose and Dying Wish, and incorporates footage captured during Evanescence’s North American touring this year.
“Tell Me When You’ve Had Enough” is the second track on Sanctuary, which was released in June through BMG.
A deluxe two-LP edition of Sanctuary is also currently available for pre-order through the band’s official store, with a September 2026 release planned.
Evanescence will continue their current touring cycle with a series of European arena dates alongside Poppy, K.Flay and Nova Twins, followed by additional performances in the U.S., Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand.
