Post-hardcore supergroup Evil Island have unveiled a new music video for their latest single “King Death.”
The track serves as the fourth advance offering from the band’s upcoming debut album, ‘Terraform The Afterlife,’ which is set to arrive on August 14, 2026.
Directed by Chelsea Debo, the new visual was filmed at the legendary Studio One at EastWest Studios in Los Angeles, a historic recording space that has hosted artists including Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson, The Rolling Stones, Elvis Presley, and Adele.
Evil Island also shared some behind-the-scenes details about the video, including the use of custom cardboard instruments created through Cardboard Sessions, a collaboration between SIGNAL EXP and Ernest Packaging.

The band also explained the story and themes behind “King Death,” describing the track as a story of survival, desperation, and defiance in the face of impossible odds.
“King Death is a really simple story about a woman who skips bail and is on the run. Someone who fights back with absolutely no leverage against the certainty of being turned into chum. It’s about nihilism—recognizing you have no chance at survival but choosing to fight anyway. It’s an ode to everyone living in their car, bleaching their roots in a truck stop bathroom, refusing to disappear quietly.”
‘Terraform The Afterlife’ was produced by acclaimed studio veteran Ross Robinson, whose extensive credits include work with Korn and Slipknot.
Evil Island features members and veterans of influential acts including The Blood Brothers, OFF!, Glassjaw, and …And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead, bringing together a lineup of musicians with deep roots in the post-hardcore and alternative scenes.
