Post-hardcore collective Evil Island have officially confirmed the addition of guitarist Todd Weinstock, best known for his time in Glassjaw and Men, Women & Children.
The announcement follows weeks of speculation, after Weinstock was previously spotted alongside members of Evil Island on social media, hinting at an expanded lineup before the confirmation was made public.
Weinstock was a member of Glassjaw from 1996 through 2004, a period widely associated with the band’s early influence on the post-hardcore and screamo scenes.
Evil Island’s roster already features members connected to acts such as The Blood Brothers and OFF!, positioning the project as a growing supergroup within the underground rock space.
The band made their official recording debut earlier this year with the single “Tiger Baby,” which arrived in April.
Evil Island have also aligned themselves creatively with producer Ross Robinson, known for his work with Korn, Slipknot, and previously The Blood Brothers, as well as producing two Glassjaw albums during Weinstock’s tenure in the band.
The group is currently signed to Blowed Out Records, a label co-founded by Robinson alongside Ghostemane and Bill Armstrong.
