Exhorder Part Ways With Drummer Sasha Horn, God Forbid’s Corey Pierce To Fill-In On Upcoming Tour

Veteran groove metal outfit Exhorder have announced that longtime drummer Sasha Horn has stepped away from the band after more than eight years. While the search for a permanent replacement continues, God Forbid’s Corey Pierce will join the band for their upcoming spring tour.

“After eight and a half years, two albums, and countless touring cycles, it is time for me to permanently step away from my position at Exhorder… This is not a farewell, this is a time-out,” Horn stated.

Exhorder praised Horn for his contributions over the years, noting that his decision is purely personal, allowing him to focus on family, education, and personal creative projects. The band also confirmed that writing for their fifth album is on the horizon, following the completion of a two-year touring cycle behind Defectum Omnium.

“We are excited to jam with Corey and bring our live show back to the eastern states for the first time in 2026,” the band added.
