Long Island crossover metallers Extinction A.D. have released another new track, unveiling “Center Of Zero” as their fourth single of 2026.
Unlike some of the band’s more aggressive or socially charged material, vocalist/guitarist Rick Jimenez explained that the new song was shaped by reflection on the friendships and community he found through hardcore and metal over the years.
Jimenez shared that the track explores both the positive relationships formed through music and the importance of avoiding toxic influences while creating art, adding that the song serves as a reminder of how deeply the scene has impacted his life personally.
The single continues an active stretch for the group, who have steadily rolled out new material throughout the year.
