FACE YOURSELF Unleash Emotional New Single “Ov Agony”

Rising deathcore act Face Yourself have just released an official music video for their latest single “Ov Agony”, continuing the momentum from their Martyr EP which dropped in April. The visually intense clip was once again directed by the band’s own drummer Eric DiCarlo, who has become a go-to force behind the lens in the heavy music scene.

The band’s vocalist Yasmine Liverneaux offered insight into the deeply personal meaning behind the track, stating:

“We are proud to release our new single ‘Ov Agony‘ via Sumerian Records. This song is for anyone who has ever felt like giving up. I wrote the lyrics based on a suicide letter that I wrote for my parents when I was 15, that I ended up never giving to them. Now that I have reached a certain peace in my life, it is easier to go back to those darker places, and heal these old wounds through music. I no longer have to hold this pain inside, and now that it has been freed through the music, this pain doesn’t have to be mine anymore. I hope this can resonate with anyone who has shared this feeling, and hopefully let go of their pain knowing that artistic expressions can save lives, and unite people.”

Face Yourself are currently set to hit the road this July with VCTMS, Crystal Lake, and Not Enough Space. That tour kicks off on July 4th and includes the following dates:
