ake Names have unveiled another preview of their upcoming third studio album, “Punk Ruins,” with the supergroup now streaming a new track titled “Until It’s Normal.”
The new record is scheduled for release on October 23 via Epitaph Records and features a lineup drawn from Bad Religion, Refused, Rocket From The Crypt, Girls Against Boys and The Faith.
According to the accompanying press release, “Until It’s Normal” takes aim at those who subscribe to what the band describes as contemporary Fascist propaganda.
The twelve-track album was recorded at Electrical Audio in Chicago, the longtime studio of the late Steve Albini. Matthew Barnhart (Superchunk, Bob Mould) handled production, with guitarist Brian Baker (Bad Religion) explaining that the band moved quickly once they entered the studio.
“We recorded twelve songs in five days, and all of them are on the album. One of the advantages of us all working at home is there’s plenty of time to figure out what you’re going to do.”
That efficiency extended to the vocals as well, with vocalist Dennis Lyxzén (INVSN, ex-Refused) reportedly completing all of his vocal parts in a single day.
“Punk Ruins” will feature the following tracks:

- 04 – “Cover The Distance”
- 05 – “What I Tell Myself”
- 06 – “Diamond Buzz”
- 07 – “Language Lost”

- 10 – “The Little Wonders”
- 11 – “Scream”
- 12 – “Paradise”
