Fear Factory Kick Off Australian Tour With Rare Deep Cuts, Including First “Invisible Wounds” Performance Since 2001

Industrial metal veterans Fear Factory launched their Australian tour with a set packed full of deep cuts and long-unplayed material, including a major catalog rarity during their Fremantle show on May 19.

The performance marked the start of the band’s ‘Cybernetic Domination: 35 Years Of Fear Tour’, celebrating their 35th anniversary and their first Australian headlining run in over a decade.

While the set featured staples like “Linchpin,” “Edgecrusher,” and “Replica,” the biggest talking point came with the return of “Invisible Wounds (Dark Bodies),” performed live for the first time since 2001. The band also revived “Industrial Discipline” and “Final Exit,” both absent from setlists since 2010.

Fronted by Milo Silvestro, the show leaned heavily on legacy material as the group continues its current touring cycle.
