Fear Factory are preparing to unveil the first taste of their upcoming eleventh studio album, with a brand-new single scheduled for release in August.
The news was recently confirmed by Fear Factory founder and guitarist Dino Cazares during an interview with Rock & Pop 95.9, where he discussed the band’s current momentum and plans for the months ahead.
Speaking about the group’s immediate future, Cazares said:
“Well, I think that Fear Factory’s riding on all cylinders. We’re a very tight unit. We have a record that’s gonna be coming out soon. We have a new single coming out in August, so I think people will be able to see and hear what we’ve been creating. Fear Factory, in the last three to four years, has been getting tighter, been getting better. Our live shows are killer.”
The upcoming release will mark an important milestone for the gold-certified industrial metal veterans as they continue a new chapter in the band’s history.
Fear Factory have spent considerable time developing the new album, which will serve as the band’s first studio effort featuring vocalist Milo Silvestro and drummer Pete Webber. Both musicians joined the group in 2023 after being recruited by Cazares.
The record will also be the band’s first full-length release since 2021’s ‘Aggression Continuum’, which became the final Fear Factory album to feature longtime vocalist Burton C. Bell. Bell’s departure from the band occurred prior to the album’s release and followed a highly publicized and contentious split between the singer and Cazares.
While additional details regarding the album remain under wraps, fans won’t have to wait much longer to hear what the band’s current lineup has been working on, with the first new Fear Factory single expected to arrive sometime in August.
