Fear Factory Shift Focus to New Album After Coal Chamber Tour Cancelation

In light of the latest postponement of their planned tour with Coal Chamber and more, gold-certified industrial metal pioneers Fear Factory are redirecting their energy to the studio. Work is now underway on their forthcoming eleventh full-length album, marking two major milestones for the band: their first release without longtime vocalist Burton C. Bell and their first with Milo Silvestro, who stepped in as frontman in 2023.

The decision comes after this morning’s announcement that the tour, which had already faced delays, is once again shelved as Coal Chamber vocalist Dez Fafara continues to prioritize his health.

Fear Factory addressed the situation today, January 15th:

“Due to Dez‘s health issues, the Coal Chamber tour has been cancelled. We’re sending Dez our best wishes for a speedy recovery and thanking each of you who purchased tickets. Thank you for your unrelenting passion and support. We will now shift our focus to complete our new album, which we are excited to share with you all.”
