FOO FIGHTERS Drop Surprise Live EP ‘Are Playing Where??? Vol. I’ To Support Charity

Foo Fighters have surprise-released a new live EP titled Are Playing Where??? Vol. I exclusively through Bandcamp. The six-track collection captures performances from the band’s recent run of intimate, last-minute shows across the U.S., including sets at the Fremont Theater in San Luis Obispo, CA, The Observatory in Santa Ana, CA, The Black Cat in Washington, D.C., and Toad’s Place in New Haven, CT.

The timing of the release aligns with Bandcamp Friday (October 3rd), when the platform waives its revenue share to support artists directly. True to the band’s long-running charitable spirit — led by frontman Dave Grohl — all proceeds from the EP will be donated to local charities in the cities where the shows took place.

These performances marked Foo Fighters’ first live appearances in roughly a year, following a brief hiatus after Grohl’s personal controversy in late 2024. They also served as the debut shows for new drummer Ilan Rubin (ex–Nine Inch Nails).

Are Playing Where??? Vol. I track listing:
01 – “Alone + Easy Target”
02 – “Exhausted”
03 – “Wattershed”
04 – “Weenie Beenie”
05 – “White Limo”
06 – “Winnebago”
