For Your Health have unleashed the official music video for “With Empty Promises & Loaded Guns” to coincide with the release of their brand-new album This Bitter Garden, which dropped today, June 6th via Periphery‘s 3DOT Recordings.
Directed by vocalist Hayden Rodriguez and guitarist Nicholas Marzluf, the visual captures the intensity and politically charged emotion that fuels the track. Speaking on the song’s themes, Rodriguez shared:
“The ideas behind the song and video were born of frustration with my belief that shitlibs will always sell us (poor people) down the river in favor of maintaining the status quo. Attention spans are increasingly limited and empathy seems to be a vestigial organ. Faceless bureaucracies essentially hold our lives in their hands and it seems like most people don’t care.”
