Over the years, Durst has quietly built a parallel career behind the camera, first honing his skills by directing music videos for his own band as well as artists like Korn, Staind, and others.

That filmmaking path eventually led to several feature-length projects, including ‘The Education Of Charlie Banks’ starring Jesse Eisenberg, the sports drama ‘The Longshots’ featuring Ice Cube, and the infamous 2019 thriller ‘The Fanatic’ with John Travolta.

Now, it appears Durst may be setting his sights on an entirely new genre.

Based on recent activity across social media, the Limp Bizkit frontman has expressed interest in tackling a horror film as his next directorial effort. Durst cited inspiration from the upcoming film adaptation of the 2022 indie horror video game ‘Iron Lung’, which is being overseen by YouTuber and filmmaker Markiplier.

Durst took to social media to share his enthusiasm for the project and the genre as a whole, hinting that horror could be the direction he hopes to explore next.
