Despite some turbulence during the recently concluded 2025 edition — including softer ticket sales that prompted organizers to issue a public plea and lower prices — Furnace Fest is officially set to return in 2026.
The annual festival, which took place this past weekend in Birmingham, AL, had seemed uncertain following the 2024 edition being declared the “final” Furnace Fest. However, organizers reversed that decision last fall, ensuring the event’s continuation.
Signage at this year’s festival and announcements via the festival’s social media have confirmed that plans are already underway for 2026. The 2025 lineup featured headliners Jimmy Eat World, Dropkick Murphys, and Knocked Loose, marking a strong return after the previous hiatus.

Stephen Garner Young the guitar player from 10 yard fight. Don’t know how it happened, but my son saw him on the ground and two guys sat him on an amp where he played the remainder of the show. The singer told the crowd that he broke his leg. I asked my son just now if they had an X-ray machine on stage 😂 I guess he possibly broke his leg

Unfortunately I was only able to attend Sunday as I was sick as a damn dog Friday and Saturday. Seeing Biohazard and Gridiron live was well worth the drive to Birmingham.

Breaking news: another festival/ artist is having there last festival or is going on hiatus to sell out there festival. Cool to support, straight clowns how the industry is built on lies.
Jeremiah Bullfrog this festival didn’t turn out like that. They were just transparent that sales weren’t great this year and they just hadn’t announced a new one until the last night of this one is all. The one last year was “the end of an era” but that was because several of the people running it are no longer involved and so last year was their last hurrah.
We will return again as well! We have a coin for every year since they’ve brought the festival back 😁 VIP coins since ’23 as well
