Gatecreeper have announced their new studio album Dark Superstition will release on May 17th through Nuclear Blast. They band held recording sessions on the album with Kurt Ballou of Converge at GodCity Studio in Salem, MA, and Fred Etsby of Dismember was brought in to assist with songwriting throughout the album.
The first single from the album is a song called “The Black Curtain“, which can be heard below via the Max Moore directed video.
Chase Mason, the band’s vocalist, offered the following:
“It’s about being trapped between living and dying. A soul trapped in purgatory begging to be brought back by a supernatural force.”
