Ghost Continue Their Clergy Saga As Frater Imperator’s Vacation Falls Apart In New Webisode

Multi-platinum occult rock outfit Ghost have released the latest installment in their ongoing lore-driven video series, extending the band’s evolving clergy storyline with chapter 25 of their webisodes.

The new episode arrives as Ghost are currently enjoying a bit of downtime. With their future plans for the year still somewhat unclear, band mastermind Tobias Forge has suggested he’s taking some time to make up for lost moments with family following the group’s recent touring cycles.

Within the band’s fictional universe, however, things aren’t going quite as smoothly.

The latest chapter follows former frontman persona Cardinal Copia as he continues adjusting to life after his tenure leading the band, now serving in his new role as Frater Imperator. Much like the band’s real-life break from the road, the character attempts to step away and take a vacation — though his plans quickly take an unexpected turn.

The episode continues the tongue-in-cheek narrative that Ghost have built through their long-running web series, which has played a major role in expanding the band’s theatrical mythology over the years.
