While some artists settle for a flashy Times Square billboard, GHOST have taken a more immersive—and tangible—approach to celebrate the success of their latest album Skeletá. Following the record’s debut at #1 on the Billboard 200, the multi-platinum occult rockers have launched a throwback promotional campaign that has physically taken over select newsstands in New York, Beverly Hills, and more.
Lining the shelves of these vintage-style displays are stacks of magazine cover stories, featuring GHOST front and center, along with branded signage that fully embraces the band’s theatrical flair. The aesthetic? A full-blown tribute to the glossy hard rock heyday of the 1980s—fitting, given Skeletá leans heavily into that era’s arena-ready sound and image.
This isn’t the first time GHOST have gone analog in support of this record. In addition to banning smartphones at shows on their current world tour, the band also hosted a persona-driven album launch across various physical stores—delivering an experience meant to echo the glory days of in-store signings and surprise appearances.
Doubling down on the retro vibes, the band even revived their signature MTV-styled tour reports, offering fans VHS-era visuals to match their latest sonic chapter.
