Swedish metal outfit Ghost have begun teasing what appears to be the debut of their newest frontman, Papa V Perpetua, in Las Vegas, NV. A billboard recently spotted in Sin City echoes the band’s recent cryptic social media posts, displaying the phrase “V Is Coming…”—a clear nod to the impending arrival of the latest incarnation of the band’s ever-changing leader.

This transition follows the retirement of Papa Emeritus IV, who bid farewell in late 2023. While details remain scarce, this unveiling suggests a new era for the band, spearheaded once again by mastermind Tobias Forge. In addition to the introduction of their latest Papa, the band is also rumored to be gearing up for the release of their sixth studio album later this year.
