Multi-platinum hard rock outfit Halestorm have released the official video for their cover of Bad Company’s 1975 classic ‘Shooting Star,’ featuring a guest appearance from vocalist/guitarist Paul Rodgers himself. The track is part of the recently issued tribute compilation Can’t Get Enough: A Tribute To Bad Company, which arrived late last month.
In a statement, Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale reflected on the significance of working with Rodgers:
“Rock n’ Roll with a soul wouldn’t exist without Paul Rodgers. We grew up on the songs and sounds he gifted to the world, and we are honored to be on this record paying tribute to one of the greatest singers of all time.”
Along with Halestorm’s contribution, Can’t Get Enough: A Tribute To Bad Company also features appearances from Def Leppard, Slash, Myles Kennedy, HARDY and more.
