After nearly a decade of silence, Haste The Day, the metalcore band from Carmel, IN, has officially returned with new music. The group just released the music video for their highly anticipated comeback single, “Burn.” Fans may recognize the track, as it was previously performed live by the band this past summer. The band has also returned to SolidState Records and are planning on releasing a new album in 2025.
Vocalist Stephen Keech stated:
“We wrote ‘Burn‘ to be a metalcore thrasher with harmonized guitar melodies, an epic chorus, a crushing breakdown riff, and lyrics about a broken system of justice focused on retaliation instead of restoration.
Being the first song that we’ve released in nine years, we wanted to put our best foot forward musically but also address an important topic in today’s divided world: The more we try to tear others down, the more we destroy ourselves.”
