Italian technical death metal outfit Hideous Divinity have just dropped a new music video for “Quasi-Sentient”, one of the darkest and most atmospheric cuts from their latest album, Unextinct.
The video, directed by Dema Novakova, arrives as the band celebrates the continued success of Unextinct following its release over a year ago. The clip features haunting imagery drawn from the 1920 German Expressionist horror film ‘Der Golem, wie er in die Welt kam’ by Paul Wegener, visually aligning with the song’s brooding tone and cinematic intensity.

During the last 16 months since the release of our latest album Unextinct, you gave us the warmest response a band could ask for in terms of sales and the coolest time on tour through Europe with Nile and at plenty of festivals.
Before locking ourselves into writing mode for new music, it’s time to delve into the world of Unextinct once more with this video dedicated to the most brooding, malevolent track on the record.
Accompanied by awesome footage from the movie Der Golem, wie er in die Welt kam – by Paul Wegener – 1920, this is yet a further testament of our love to Cinema.
