Welsh post-hardcore outfit Holding Absence have announced a delay for their upcoming fourth studio album, ‘Modern Life Is Lonely’.
Originally scheduled for release on August 28th, the album will now arrive on September 18th due to delays in the manufacturing process.
The band addressed the change today, August 8th, explaining that the additional time is needed to ensure the physical editions of the album are produced and delivered properly.
Holding Absence stated:
“Holding Absence Family,
We’re very sorry to share that, due to delays in the manufacturing process, our new album, ‘Modern Life Is Lonely’, will now be released on 18th September rather than the originally planned date of 28th August.
We’re gutted to have to delay the album & sincerely apologise for the disappointment this may cause.
This decision has been made to ensure that every physical edition is delivered as intended & to the standard you deserve.
Before then, the title track, which was a favourite among those who attended our four UK album listening parties, will be released on 21st August.
Thank you for your patience, understanding & continued support.”
Despite the album delay, fans will not have to wait until September for new music. The title track from ‘Modern Life Is Lonely’ is scheduled to be released on August 21st.
The album will also mark Holding Absence’s first studio effort since signing with Sumerian Records.
