Rising metalcore outfit Hollow Pact have officially joined the roster of Sumerian Records, marking the occasion with the release of their latest single, “Tear.”
The track arrives alongside a newly unveiled music video directed by Lost Noise, giving fans another look at the band’s blend of melodic metalcore and industrial-tinged aggression. The group has steadily been building momentum in recent months, with vocalist Jager Henry—the grandson of legendary Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham—fronting the project.
Speaking on the band’s newly announced partnership with Sumerian Records, Hollow Pact shared their excitement about the next phase of their career:
“This new chapter is truly a dream come true. To be signed to a label I looked up to and I also looked up to the artists on it. I’m excited for this journey and it’s up to the world now. Welcome to the Pact.”
The band also offered some insight into the themes behind “Tear,” describing it as a song centered around emotional attachment and self-destruction.
“‘Tear’ lives in the space between comfort and collapse – a broken reflection of attachment, erosion, and the weight of holding on to something for too long. In other words everything you don’t need but crave.”
The signing adds another emerging heavy act to the growing Sumerian Records roster as Hollow Pact continue to establish themselves within the modern metalcore landscape.
