Alternative metal newcomers Hollow Pact have followed up their recent signing with Sumerian Records by unveiling a new music video for their latest single, “Witchking.”
The newly released clip was once again directed by Lost Noise, who have previously worked with the band. Hollow Pact also boast a notable connection to rock history within their lineup, with the group featuring the grandson of legendary Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham.
As for the subject matter behind “Witchking,” the band explain that the track was inspired by the frustration of watching someone receive sympathy despite being responsible for another person’s suffering.
“‘Witchking’ represents that moment when you are watching somebody collect an unwarranted sympathy after they were the cause of another persons suffering and pain. Its about the frustration it feels to witness their dishonest feelings on display as they allow themselves to fall into the hands of a story that no one knows the other side of.”
