Excodex is an electronic metal band formed in late 2019.

Excodex draws from many different styles but is for fans of electronic-industrial/nu-metalcore. Aside from being musicians their entire lives, the band members of Excodex previously played together in a now defunct industrial metal band called The Akuzma from 2012 to 2019. Before calling it quits, they were able to tour Texas and open locally for many national touring acts and such notable bands as : Static-x (and Wayne Static solo), Orgy, Powerman 5000, Mushroomhead, Dope, Combichrist, Wednesday 13, The Browning, American Head Charge, Tim Skold, Scar The Martyr, Vampires Everywhere!, The Genitortures, Davey Suicide, 9 Electric, The Bunny The Bear, The Defiled, Polkadot Cadaver, PsychoStick, One Eyed Doll, Bobaflex as well as many other Texan and regional acts.
After playing in various local bands and other side projects they came back together as Excodex and were able to secure the talents of Jonny Mcbee (Singer/songwriter of The Browning). In 2020 when touring had come to a halt, they approached Jonny with demos ready and after hearing the music he offered to produce, mix and master the material bringing Excodex to life. The result is the self-titled 2021 EP.
The band takes a new spin on music by having and drawing from a sci-fi aesthetic. With lyrics and imagery taken from personal experiences as well as movies and culture the band paints a very clear picture of sonic emotion. All the instrumentation, song names, visuals, art and feel all coalesce into act with an amazing live show and phenomenal stage presence that speaks to their professional ability to entertain and give the fans something truly unique.
In May of 2021 they released their self-titled EP and later in October dropped their first full music video for the single “White Knuckle Blackout”.
After debuting live in March 2021 they released a video for “Ghost in the Machine”. With new recordings and videos in production the band has a hard work ethic and momentum to reach larger audiences.
